When will we be going again?

Next Summer, God willing!

After much discussion and prayer, it looks like we will be able to make another trip to Banda Aceh the summer of 2009. We already have two volunteers from Lutheran Church of Prayer, and two more from Grace Lutheran Church, who are willing to go at that time.

Following the tsunami (which happened in December of 2004), estimates were that it could take up to ten years for the afflicted areas to completely recover. But, can anyone ever completely recover from losing loved ones, sometimes entire families, as well as homes and jobs? The work to be done in Banda Aceh will be ongoing for many years.

Please join us by continuing to pray for the team as a plan is developed to return to Indonesia.
